Glyn Davis is the Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the Australian National University, a Visiting Fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government and a Visiting Fellow at Exeter College, Oxford. He recently completed nearly 14 years as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne.
Glyn’s public sector service includes terms as the Director-General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Queensland, and as Foundation Chair of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
In 2008, Glyn co-chaired the Australia 2020 Summit and, in 2010, presented the Boyer Lectures. These were published as The Republic of Learning.
In 2017, Glyn published The Australian Idea of a University and The 6th Edition of The Australian Policy Handbook.
